It took forever but I finally got my shiny mudkip. It didn’t get the nature I wanted but after going through 1830 eggs I would’ve settled for anything. Plus it’s ivs are pretty good so that’s a bonus. Now all I have to do is wait for oras to come out
My favorites are Miles and Moya, they were the first two Pokemon I got through the masuda method. Hopefully the photos aren’t too bad, if so I’ll fix them later
With ORAS being announced, I’ve decided to try and breed myself an awesome shiny mudkip. It’s taking longer than I want to get it just right but it’s almost there.
So in this spirit I’ll be posting pics of some of my shiny Pokemon I got through doing the masuda method
just a quick little doodle
I might go back and seriously draw it but I’m just not in the mood for it
I don’t know whether I find this splice to be cute or creepy. The only problem I have with how it turned out is that the wings kind of look like ears but that’s what I get for having it look right at me.
It’s been awhile since I drew something so I thought I’d do a splice I thought was pretty cute. If this was a real Pokemon it would be perfect for contests.
Slowly but steadily this thing is getting done. If I didn’t lose interest so quickly, I could have my entire team finished in no time.
This was the commission I mentioned earlier.
My sister’s friend wanted a tiger fakemon that was either a fire or grass type, so I just combined the two. He also wanted some pot elements thrown into it, which is kind of obvious. While I’m not fond of pot itself, I have to say that this was a fun one to do as there were a lot of ways to incorporate that theme. The tail is my favorite part of the whole thing.
I’m thinking about setting up commissions, but I’m not really sure how to go about it. I’m going to need to set up a Paypal, as I’m not sure how else to handle the money situation. I’ll just look around to see how other people are doing theirs and follow them. Frankly, I’m not expecting much from doing this but I thought that I’d put it out there. You don’t know if you don’t try right?
Anyways, I’ve already done one commission, but that was for my sister’s friend and also a freebie. Speaking of, I’ve been meaning to post it for awhile now so it’ll probably go up later today.
I doubt anyone cares, but I have to share this. It took about 2300 eggs to get her and it almost drove me crazy in the process. I swear it knew that it wasn’t for me and purposely took longer, but my little brother really wanted a shiny buizel so I had to give it a go. I’m so glad it’s over
Now that my shiny pokemon are basically done, I can get started on adding the rest of my main team. Hopefully I can do the rest as quickly as I did these guys.
On a side note, both of them were from doing the masuda method. They were such a pain to breed, the noivern took like ~900 eggs and the Tyranitar took ~270 eggs (but seemed so much longer)
It’s been sometime since I last posted any art so I thought I’d make up for it.
I plan on doing a nice group piece featuring all of the shiny pokemon I have in my pokemon x or maybe just my main team, I’m still thinking it over so it may stay a wip for a bit. Eventually I’ll get back to doing some splice fanart.
My second entry for the Omnisregion’s clock contest.
I wish that I could enter as many as I want but I only get one more, too bad.
(the blue one is the shiny)
Rittle love to creep upon unsuspecting trainers walking in tall grass, scaring them by producing a loud ringing noise. After a successful scare, Rittle can be heard making a ticking laugh for hours later.
Ability: Prankster or Anticipation (Hidden Ability: Infiltrator)
Species: Rattle Pokemon
This is what I’m submitting to the Omnisregion Clock Contest.
The purple ones are the shiny version
Snocket (Snail + Pocket Watch)
Everyday at noon, Snocket flock to the nearest beaches to bask in the sun. Amature treasure hunters often try to pick them up, dropping them in surprise when they make noise.
Ability: Pickpocket or Shell Armor (Hidden Ability: Unaware)
Species: Pocket Watch Pokemon
Dially (Sun Dial + Jellyfish)
Dially are favorites of sailors for their ability to accurately show what time a storm is going to hit. They are also known to bury themselves in sand, leaving their fin above ground.
Ability: Forewarn or Rain Dish (Hidden Ability: Cloud Nine)
Species: Sun Dial Pokemon
Finally got around to doing a splice
